He is a qualified agricultural engineer, ran a garage for nearly 10 years and then made the decision to instruct full time.

Simon has competed in select rally events over the years – the Bulldog, Woodpecker, Rockingham and Oakington Challenge. Working across the globe in Sweden, Norway, Poland and Morocco to name a few. His best claim to fame is being Chief Development Driver for the Airel Nomad.

Having thoroughly proved his worth, he was promoted to an instructor at just 18. He still rallies in his 1400cc Micra. He has navigated in the BTRDA and managed a BRC team.

He has taught customers of all levels from novices to international rally drivers and stunt actors for film and TV. His true passion lies in teaching the next generation of rally competitors and thoroughly enjoys looking after the Silverstone Youth Rally Academy.

Connor has competed as both co-driver and driver in a wide selection of cars from RWD Turbo Subarus to Silverstone Rally School Hire Cars. He is now competing in his own GC8 97 RA Subaru Impreza. Connor himself said he learned his most essential skills at the school when he attended as a student many years ago!

Tony McGregor

Tony started training as a student in 2015 initially for the British Stunt Registry.  He completed the precision driving qualification in FWD, RWD and 4WD and competed in a number of rallies.

After finishing his training he was inspired to pass on his knowledge and stayed on as an instructor. He continued training to develop the skills required for TV/film sets. Over the last few years, Tony has instructed at the Youth Academy and on our driver training courses alongside competing as a co-driver.

Trevor Clemson

Trevor has motorsport running through his veins. He competes in motor cross, enduro, classic trials, off-road racing and (of course!) rides a motorbike. He is a retired motorsport business owner and has been a long term rally instructor as Silverstone Rally School.
