Silverstone Rally School - Rally-Quest 2008

Silverstone Rally School is looking to select a driver with no previous motorsport experience to compete in selected rallying events throughout the season.

Can you imagine yourself powering through special stages in a fully prepared MG ZR car as part of a £35,000 sponsorship package supported by a qualified co-driver/navigator and backed up by a full team of mechanics?

Silverstone Rally School has long been recognised as a market leader in the sport of rallying, and with Rally-Quest it has been proven beyond any doubt that they believe anyone can enter.

Rally-Quest is for drivers with no previous experience in motorsport. The only requirements are a full valid driving licence, the completion of our assessment course and the determination and will to succeed.

The assessment consists of participating in our full day Clubmans course, an intensive training day designed to teach the principal techniques used by rally drivers. You will be coached by qualified and highly-skilled rally drivers of international status and holders of MSA licenses.

The ten highest-scoring drivers will be invited back to Silverstone Rally School for the Grand Final from which our winner will be selected.

The only cost involved for potential drivers is for the assessment day course, priced at £255.00 including VAT and insurance.

The Package

During the term, the selected driver will receive from Silverstone Rally School Ltd, free of charge...

• Fully-prepared rally car
• Qualified co-driver/navigator
• Race clothing
• Team of supporting mechanics
• Fully-equipped service van and trailer
• Management and assistance
• Additional training
• Event organisation and planning
• Assistance with rally driver's licence
• Accommodation at events

As part of the package, the selected driver will be expected to:

• Make himself available for additional training
• Obtain an MSA rally driver's licence
• Participate in Press, TV & Radio interviews
• Be able to commit the time to Rally-Quest
• Approach the concept professionally
• Sign a document of agreement
• Be presentable when promoting Silverstone Rally School and any associated sponsors
