Driving in the "World Famous" Ford Escort MK2's or Subaru Impreza. Our Course starts at 9am and the doors open at 8.15am you will be able to purchase breakfast and refreshments at this time.
To Start the day
Introduction to the day’s instructors, informal lecture on the basic principles of rally driving techniques and car control delivered by our qualified instructors in our purpose built training room.
Practice 1
Power sliding, after a short demonstration by your instructor, each delegate will in turn take the driving seat and practice the basic “sideways” control using manoeuvres that co-ordinate power and steering balance.
Practice 2
Handbrake turns, again following a short demonstration, each pupil practices handbrake turns, hard cornering and car positioning techniques through a sequence of tight corners on our special stage.
Practice 3
Another driving session where the two techniques above are combined and reinforced with surprising results!!

After Lunch
Each delegate will drive the full special stage a number of times with the instructor monitoring the techniques practised earlier in the day, encouraging the build up of confidence and speed. The authentic “arrowed” route featuring fast and slow bends, straights and different surfaces testing your new skills and ability to the full!
And Finally
The “hot seat ” ride. The instructor takes the wheel and gives each delegate a passenger ride at authentic rally speed around the full stage awesome! – Feel the adrenaline level rise and monitor the wow factor!

Calm down
De-brief, the instructor’s summarise the day’s activities giving advice and distributing the Silverstone Rally School certificates to all delegates. The Clubman's Course starts at 9 am and finishes at approx 4.00pm
You will be driving in either a Ford Escort MK2 or Subaru Impreza if you have a preference you must let us know when booking in your date.
The Clubmans course in run on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays through out the year.

Guests
Spectators on either our Clubman's or Introductory Course will be able to purchase a high speed passenger ride at the end of the experience when the qualified instructor will drive them around at special stage at full rally speed. Wow!!
Children are allowed to spectate but must be supervised at all times. Unfortunately due to public safety dogs and pets are not allowed on the premises.
Please remember to bring your camera with you as guests have exceptional viewing at our facility and will be able to take some superb snap shots.

The Junior Clubman’s Full Day £199
(11 to 17 year olds only)
After the successful introduction of our Junior Rally taster experience we are now offering a junior full day experience in our Ford KA Rally Cars. The session will start with a classroom safety briefing followed by in car demonstrations from your driving instructor.
Practice 1
Car and track familiarisation - several laps around the stage gaining steering and clutch control.
Practice 2
Each delegate will get the chance to practice hand brake turns and powerslides.
Practice 3
A further driving session around the full stage intergrating the newly learnt techniques.
Practice 4
Now you are building in confidence and your co-ordination is improving we show you a new technique
handbrake turns to the right! We then finish off the morning session with powerslides in either donut or
figure of eight style according to your own individual ability.
Lunch Break
The afternoon sessions will start with a further classroom briefing building on your rally driving knowledge.
Then during the afternoon each delegate will drive the full special stage a number of times with the instructor
monitoring and encouraging the build up of confidence and speed. The authentic “arrowed” route featuring fast
and slow bends, straights and different surfaces testing your new skills and ability to the full! For those who
progress well, we will even practice further hard braking techniques and a different type of powerslide!!!!.
You will then complete your day with the instructor taking the wheel giving each delegate a high speed passenger ride!!!
Followed by a debrief and the presentation of certificates.
Full Day 9 am to 3pm naturally dependant on numbers. No driving experience necessary and 17 years are only eligible if they do not have a driving licence. School holidays, occasional Sundays throughout the year!
Did you know juniors can take this up as a hobbie providing they meet the age criteria they can join our Academy!
